Greshan is the mother of Conan and Siobahn.
During the battle in Cimmeria, she was fatally wounded by an enemy while attempting to save Corin. The weakened Greshan uses the last of her strength to give birth and names the child Conan before she dies.

In Conan the Barbarian (1982 movie), she didn't die after her son's birth but when Thulsa Doom's army attacked their village.
