Ala (Valusian)

Ala was a young Valusian woman and a slave owned by Count Volmana. She was also the lover of the young nobleman Seno val Dor, but they were unable to get married since it was against Valusian law for nobles to marry slaves. When Ala overheard Volmana and Baron Kaanuub discussing their plot to overthrow Kull, she informed Seno at once, enabling him to save Kull's life at the last minute. The grateful Kull not only allowed Seno to marry Ala, but he changed the law and made it possible for nobles and slaves to marry if they wished.
